The 27th Annual Fall Country Luncheon was held on Sunday, October 7th at Jane and Shepard Ellenberg’s gorgeous Hallmark Farm. The rain held off and more than 400 supporters gathered at the farm to celebrate land conservation. Guests were also treated to “Horses of the Hudson Valley.” Conceived and orchestrated by Tom and Maddie Duggan of Kildare Stables the demonstration was a fascinating showcase of the many ways that horses are a part of our lives here in Dutchess County. Many thanks to the Duggans, and to Marion de Vogel for capturing the magic of the day.
