On a gorgeous Sunday morning, DLC Ecologist Julie Hart and Wethersfield Director of Horticulture Toshi Yano toured Wethersfield with guests.
In the second of this summer's Wethersfield Garden and Woods walks, guests were led through the wonders of the Wethersfield Gardens by the estate's Director of Horticulture Toshi Yano. They were then brought on a tour of the Wethersfield woods by DLC Ecologist Julie Hart. While Toshi showcased the exquisite garden plants and offered up advice to guests for managing their own gardens, Julie pointed out the egg masses of Spongy moth found on the trunks of trees in the woods and advised on the best way to destroy them so they won't come back next year.
