The DLC went back to school this spring to attend the Pine Plains High School Career Fair and the Dover Middle and High Schools’ Earth Day Fair. At both events, we reached out to the budding environmentalists and conservationists in attendance to explain the DLC’s mission, and teach them about the benefits of land preservation – habitat connectivity, ecological sustainability, climate resiliency, and water quality, among many others. We were thrilled to spend time with a new generation of land stewards, and we’re counting on them to keep Dutchess County beautiful and sustainable in the future.
