On a cool Saturday morning in early fall, DLC Volunteers hauled equipment along the trails of The Nature Conservancy's Thompson Pond Preserve. It was the third in a series of volunteer trail maintenance days at the, and by the time they had finished, new blazing had been put in place for the white trail, portions of trail had been rerouted to stem erosion, and downed trees that had previously blocked hikers' way were removed. We are extremely grateful for all the hard work our volunteers put in at the Thompson Pond Preserve. They have made a lasting impact on this exceptional outdoor area.
