Most of our funding comes from YOU! More than 75% of the support for our work comes from our members. So when we say, “You helped to protect another 475 acres of land in Dutchess County in 2020,” we mean it. Your generous donations and your loyal support, year after year, really does make a difference. And we couldn’t be more grateful.
Crucial support for our work also comes from federal, state, and private grants that allow us to purchase development rights so that farmland, forests, wetlands, and open spaces remain to benefit us all into the future. A significant amount of this support comes from New York State’s Environmental Protection Fund (EPF).
