Communications Manager
Doug Ohlandt joined the DLC in February of 2022. He is responsible for all of the DLC’s communications, including publications, website design and content, social media, and media relations. Doug previously worked in the television field, primarily in marketing and production, where he won multiple awards for his work on national marketing campaigns. He is an active volunteer with the NY/NJ Trail Conference as a trail corridor monitor for the Appalachian Trail, and serves as head of the Communications Committee at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he is also heavily involved in the music program. Doug holds a B.S. in Communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a concentration in writing for Television, Radio, and Film, and resides in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
