Sandy Tanner is usually the first voice you hear when calling the DLC. She is responsible for a diverse range of duties including day-to-day office support to staff and visitors, and serves as liaison to the Board of Directors, keeping all records and preparing for Board and Committee meetings. She is happy to be in a role that allows her to support the team in a variety of ways. Prior to joining the DLC in 2016, she was part owner of a manufacturing company in Poughkeepsie, where she was the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for 26 years. Sandy is a lifelong resident of Lagrangeville where she lives with her husband, three children, and her Boykin Spaniel, Maggie. I believe that we should never take for granted the open spaces that make Dutchess County so beautiful. There is no guarantee that what is here today will be here tomorrow and I am grateful to work with such a meaningful organization to help conserve these beautiful landscapes so that they continue to exist for future generations.
