Learn how to tie flies! Discover what makes for healthy streams and rivers!

Join us for a community event to learn how to tie flies for fly fishing, understand the importance of the aquatic health of our rivers, and have snacks and coffee with us. Fly fishing is considered an important component of water conservation because it inherently encourages anglers to prioritize the health of aquatic ecosystems by promoting catch-and-release practices, fostering a deep connection to the natural environment, and actively advocating for the protection of clean water resources necessary for healthy fish populations. Fly fishers have a vested interest in maintaining the quality of the waters they fish in, leading them to support conservation efforts.
