Thursday, March 27, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the NorthEast-Millerton Library Annex

The black bears are waking up from their long winter nap. Join us for a fascinating presentation on these magnificent creatures.

Join DLC Director of Education Julie Hart as she highlights the black bears of our area who are waking up from their winter nap just as we humans are heading outdoors more often with the warming of spring. This presentation will cover the lives and ecological importance of black bears in our local landscape, as well as the history and habits of these charismatic creatures. Bring your curiosity and questions - we'll be covering more than just the "bear" essentials!
