An intrepid and enthusiastic group of birders joined the DLC and hosts, Audubon New York, for a Morning Bird Walk on Saturday, May 14 at the Buttercup Farm Audubon Sanctuary in Stanfordville, NY.

As we took our first steps forward with our brand-new Volunteer, Community Science, and Education Program, the DLC partnered with the Town of Stanford’s Conservation Advisory Commission for our first volunteer event, a trail maintenance and park beautification day at the Whitlock Preserve.
